Hackensack Commons is a uniquely placed Grocery/Home Improvement anchored super center in the heart of Bergen County. Albeit a secondary road, Hackensack Avenue produces 35,320 VPD (NJ DOT 2017) giving it above average availability to the consuming public.

The Asian grocer draws significant population from northeast Bergen County, as well as NYC which is 11 miles away. The restaurants do above average benefitting from the robust daytime population and proximity to northeast Bergen County and NYC. Although the Bergen County Blue Laws closes the Home Depot, Mattress Firm and Red Wing Shoe on Sundays, all perform above their respective average sales.

The Asian Grocer brings a larger trade area to the property, but the community nature of Hackensack Commons generally serves Hackensack, New Milford, Maywood, and parts of West Englewood, Bergenfield and Dumont. It is conveniently located right off Route 4 at The Shops at Riverside interchange. 

Hackensack Commons is located 11 miles from NYC which is due east. The Shops at Riverside and recently developed Avalon Bay community, along with the Continental Tower complex across the street, provides a dynamic source of captive audience consumer dollars. Route 4 is the major east/west state Highway acting as the conduit from northern NYC to northern NJ.

The parking lot and roofs have all been replaced since 2016, providing a maintenance-free environment for the tenants and their patrons. The Grocer opened in 2018 which has significantly boosted the daily activity in the center.
